Refugee Week will be on 16th -25th June 2025 and a number of exciting events will be happening in Barnsley. The theme for the week is Communities as Superpower.
Wednesday 18th June 2025
11am:Art Competition Winners will be announced and there will be presentations by the Mayor
A presentation to the first School to achieve School of Sanctuary status in Barnsley.
Barnsley Town Hall
A poetry workshop and craft activities are also being planned – dependent on funding.
We are in discussion with Invisible Man Theatre Company about a possible performance of How To Be Lucky – to be confirmed.
