Barnsley Borough City of Sanctuary was launched on 15th April 2015 at Barnsley Town Hall. It is part of a national movement to build a culture of welcome for people seeking sanctuary in the UK. We work with Barnsley Council and other partners.

Our next Meeting will be at 3pm -5pm on Monday 7th July 2025 at Barnsley Town Hall.

New members and visitors are always welcome.
